Turbine control upgrade at Mercer Stendal
For Mercer Stendal I contributed to a turbine control upgrade in which the existing Siemens control system was migrated to Valmet DNA. Within this project I was responsible for the HIMA safety PLC, the network infrastructure and the system implementation.
My work included programming and testing the safety logic, setting up and checking industrial network connections, and supporting the implementation and commissioning of the new control system. This contributed to a safe, reliable and future-proof turbine control system within an industrial production environment.
